Where to Practice

Most of the best players of the game started playing broomball at their local parks. It is the cheapest and easiest way to practice. If you live in an area that does not offer outdoor ice rinks, rent an indoor arena. This can be expensive, but worthwhile if you get some friends to play with you.

Learning the Moves

The best way to learn strategy and techniques is to learn from players. Go to a league near you and watch some games. Talk to players and find out if you can practice with them. Many teams look for players to practice with and would be happy to share ice time with you. Some the best teams in the Minneapolis/St Paul area play every Friday night at Augsburg College. The season runs from October into January.
